Jack England

Jack discovered his passion for hair back in 2009 when he began his apprenticeship at Blushes Hairdressers in Cheltenham, working whilst training alongside some of the best hairdressers in the region.

To complete his training as a unisex hairdresser, Jack attended advanced cutting courses with industry leaders Wella and Loreal and finishing his training at Rage in Tewkesbury. Jack then transitioned into barbering, first with McCafferys where scissors come first and clippers only when absolutely necessary gave the foundation needed to develop and progress in the profession. A brief stay at Blake’s in Cheltenham before Kingpins gave the opportunity to become self-employed by renting a chair, it is here that Jack honed his skills in the art of fading and classic barbering.

Before settling down in Tewkesbury, the travel itch needed to be scratched, so a little over a year was spent travelling Australia and Asia cutting hair with extended stays and work in Emporium Barbers on Bondi Beach, and Beef’s Barbers in Melbourne.

Working across a diverse mix of Barbers, here in the UK and Australia has given Jack a depth and breadth of experience few barbers can match. His experience to date has inspired him to create the vision that is Studio Sixty, he looks forward to meeting clients old and new in the near future.

Will Newman

At a BBQ on the other side of the world whilst watching a friend having a haircut, a spark was ignited in Will that has since developed into his passion and career.

Starting as an apprentice in 2016 at Rage Hairdressers, Will quickly progressed and qualified for his Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing. Under the guidance of experienced hairdressers Will continued to develop his craft on the shop floor as well as investing in his future by attending advanced cutting and colouring courses with industry leading experts and suppliers.

Although Will has enjoyed his time in the hairdressing sector he is excited to be making the switch to barbering, using his skills to ensure his clients both feel and look good.

He is especially pleased to join Studio Sixty where his skill and passion will support the development and expansion of Jack’s vision.

Tom Sallis

Tom found his love for barbering working in a local barber as a Saturday boy at just 15 years of age, sweeping up and chatting to customers, watching how the barbers cut whilst soaking up the atmosphere.

Tom already realised that barbering was the career for him and started cutting his friends hair in the evenings after school and on a Saturday morning but soon realised he needed some proper training.

So, on leaving school, Tom started his apprenticeship and quickly begun cutting hair on the shop floor due to his passion and talent. He loves getting creative with patterns and specialises in Skin fades. He has decided to join the ever-growing team at Studio Sixty to work with likeminded passionate barbers who take pride in presenting the latest cuts with highest of quality in what has been described as the best barbers in town.
